Each year in NSW, the Australian Multicultural Marketing Awards celebrate the campaigns that have showcased diversity in a creative or innovative way across categories as diverse as sport, education, youth and the arts. We are enormously proud to be a long-standing supporter of the AMMAs, and one of our senior team has been on the Awards jury for several years now.

Not only do we believe in the importance of creating communications to target the truly diverse Australian community we are so fortunate to be a part of, and celebrating excellence in multicultural marketing, we always learn so much from reviewing some of Australia’s most exciting and innovative work.

It’s incredible to consider that we’re one of the only countries in the world with such a richly varied community. Almost 50% of Australians were born overseas or at least one parent was an immigrant. The ABS data from 2016 Census confirmed the diversity of the Lucky Country’s population continues to increase. Australian immigrants are slightly more likely to have been born in Asia than Europe – a first in Australian history.
